During a meditation course I took a woman told me that she saw her daily practice like a tree growing inside her. In the early stages she needed to devote attention and care to what was growing, protect it. Eventually though it would become ingrained within her being and be able to stand the test of time. The apples represent the fruit of knowledge. The snake, science. Our journey is a cosmic one in which the connection between all things is revealed as we begin to truly understand the depth of our humanness. The constellation Orion is in the sky. He is the hunter, the process of natural selection that pushed our species to evolve.
